POLITICAL SALT

Adding spiritual salt to the meat of politics... in the pursuit of good government.

"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned, as it were, with salt,
so that you may know how you should respond to each person."

- Colossians 4:6

It's All God's

I find it sometimes painfully almost funny when I hear those that proclaim that God should be taken out of the government. When we live a life with the Bible as the highest standard of truth, in which God so clearly speaks with authority, it sounds rather childish when we see men exalt themselves. God was there at Genesis when He first delegated governmental authority to man (Genesis 1:27-28). Yet, even in His delegation, 2 Chronicles 20:6 reminds us... "O Lord God of our fathers, are You not God in heaven, and do You not rule over all the kingdoms of the nations, and in Your hand is there not power and might, so that no one is able to withstand You?" Yes, as Psalm 24:1 says, "The earth is the Lord's, and all it contains, the world, and those who dwell in it." It's all God's.
